
Andrea Mauro
Andrea Mauro is a musician who resides in the Kitcheber-Waterloo area. She has formal training on piano, flute, and voice through the Royal Conservatory of music, Wilfred Laurier University, and with several private music instructors. Andrea has been performing the area and beyond since 2001, participating in local arts festivals and events, hosting solo classical concerts, touring with rock-pop indie bands, busking at markets, to name a few.

Steve Weatherall
Having played in Big Bands, Punk Bands and everything in between, many years of teaching, live and recording experience I am pleased for the opportunity to join the Queen Street Music family.

Richard L'Abbe
Richard L’Abbe owns and operates Queen Street Music School in Cambridge, Ontario.



Amy Lightfoot
Along with being a private music instructor, Amy has just completed training and is now a licenced educator of Kindermusik programs for children 0-7 yrs old!

Zach Daza
Zach Daza is a pianist and guitarist. He has been playing the guitar since the age of 9 and the piano since the age of 14. The piano is his primary focus, as he excelled at the piano and was able to advance quickly.

Liam Burke
Liam began learning piano at age 9 and later focused on low brass instruments, including tuba. He was selected to attend OELC (Ontario Education & Leadership Camp for music) a program for students who have shown talent for not only music but also a potential for leadership. This influenced his decision to attend university with the intent of becoming a music teacher.

Anna Whitney
Anna Whitney is a high school student attending Galt Collegiate Institute, where she is a valuable member of the Concert Band, in which she plays the trumpet. She started learning piano at Queen Street Music when she was 8 years old. Anna is currently working on her level 6 of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her passion for music has led her to pursue the study of many different instruments, including guitar, ukulele, and trumpet.

Vanessa De Freitas
Vanessa is a graduate from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music from 2008. She also holds a Diploma of Applied Arts in Vocal Music from Mohawk College from 2006. Vanessa is classically trained in both voice and piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music along with college and university. She also has vocal training in jazz, pop/rock and musical theater styles.
